In our technology-driven world, the boundary between what’s natural and what’s artificial has become blurred. Now that generative AI can convincingly mimic reality, what happens when we can no longer tell the difference?
Entropy is a display typeface that explores this question, inspired by ‘old-computer’ style fonts such as Westminster, Data-70 and Amelia. It blends organic, rounded forms with underlying geometry reminiscent of mechanical infrastructure — a machine’s flawed interpretation of nature. Entropy seeks to capture the disorienting feeling of existing in a world where nothing seems quite real, raising questions about the role of technology in our lives and how it’s reshaping our perception of reality.
